Production Supervisor (Field Support)

A new vacancy has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join the Offshore Exploration and Production department of a leading Oil and Gas Company in the UAE.

This position is a permanent staff role available on a 28/28 rotation to our client’s offshore facilities.

Due to the current travel and visa restrictions in the country, we are seeking candidates currently based in the UAE only.

Role:

As Production Supervisor your role will be to plan, implement and supervise project related activities on either the main platform or satellites. You will be executing maintenance, integrity and / or project programmes as directed by the Satellite Superintendent. This work could be new developments identified as additional infrastructure to existing assets, upgrading of facilities, significant repair and maintenance scopes, shutdown and enhancement projects such as pigging, SIMOPS, drilling and well intervention programmes.

You will also be acting as the single point of liaison with he Coast Guard, Police, and Armed Forces with regards to reporting on safety zone infringements etc.

It is anticipated that approximately 90% of the duties will be performing the supervisory role as dictated by the Satellite Superintendent.

Requirements:

We are seeking you to have a relevant qualification in process engineering or similar.

You should have strong production knowledge with a minimum of 5 years varied operational maintenance experience in the Oil and Gas industry. YOU should ideally have previous supervisory / leadership experience in an offshore environment.

You must have excellent written and spoken English. An Arab speaker is preferred, but not essential.

Business management, planning, prioritising, risk management experience is expected.
